JCIA ensures the credibility, clarity, and accuracy of research in curriculum innovation, educational assessment, and pedagogy. Corrections maintain the trustworthiness of the scholarly record for educators, policymakers, and researchers.

2. Types of Corrections

Erratum (Publisher-Initiated):
For errors during production (e.g., formatting, metadata, figures) not affecting study conclusions.

Corrigendum (Author-Initiated):
For substantive post-publication errors (e.g., factual, analytical mistakes) impacting understanding but not invalidating the study.

3. Correction Procedure

Error Detection: Authors, editors, reviewers, or readers may identify errors.

Editorial Review: The editorial team determines the correction type.

Implementation: A formal correction notice is published and linked to the original article; the main text remains unless critical changes are required.

Corrections are:

  • Clearly labeled and linked to the article

  • Indexed for traceability

  • Open access and permanently available
