Author Appeal Policy

Authors may appeal editorial decisions under the following framework:

  • Grounds for Appeal:

    • Misinterpretation of manuscript content

    • Factual errors in reviewer or editorial feedback

    • Evidence of bias or conflict of interest

  • Submission Timeline: Appeals must be submitted within 20 calendar days of receiving the decision.

  • Appeal Procedure:

    1. Submit a formal appeal letter to the Editor-in-Chief with a detailed rationale and supporting evidence.

    2. Include responses to reviewer comments and, if applicable, a revised manuscript.

    3. The Editor-in-Chief may consult original reviewers or assign independent reviewers for reassessment.

  • Final Decision: The Editor-in-Chief’s decision on the appeal is final, with a written explanation provided.
