Editorial Process
International Review of Sustainable Economics and Finance
At IRSEF, we uphold a transparent, ethical, and rigorous editorial process to ensure the highest standards of scholarly publication in economics, finance, and sustainable development. Each manuscript undergoes a structured evaluation from submission to publication:
1. Manuscript Submission
All manuscripts must be submitted via the official IRSEF submission portal. Submissions must comply fully with formatting, referencing, and ethical guidelines provided by the journal.
2. Initial Screening and Plagiarism Check
The editorial office conducts a preliminary evaluation to ensure that the manuscript:
-
Aligns with economics, finance, and sustainability research
-
Meets ethical standards including institutional approvals if applicable
-
Passes plagiarism detection using Turnitin or equivalent software (similarity above 15% may require revision or rejection)

Qualified manuscripts are assigned to a Section Editor with subject expertise to assess:
-
Relevance and originality
