Article Processing Charges (APC)

IRSEF does not charge any submission fee, in line with its commitment to accessibility and inclusivity for scholars worldwide. However, to maintain the journal’s quality and sustainable operations, a one-time Article Processing Charge (APC) is applicable only after the manuscript is accepted for publication.

What Does the APC Cover?

The APC contributes to:

  • Coordination and administration of double-blind peer review

  • Professional formatting, layout, and typesetting

  • Long-term digital archiving and DOI registration via CrossRef

  • Website hosting and platform maintenance

  • Global visibility and indexing across academic databases

  • Editorial and technical support

APC for Authors in Pakistan

As Pakistan is classified as a lower-income country, authors affiliated with Pakistani institutions are required to pay:

PKR 30,000 (upon acceptance)

Waiver Policy

  • Premium Members may apply for APC waivers.

  • Waivers are granted at the editorial board’s discretion and must be requested before or immediately after acceptance.

Important Notice on Withdrawal Policy

Authors are strongly discouraged from submitting manuscripts without genuine intent to publish. Submissions intended only to receive feedback or exploit the peer review process may result in disqualification from future submissions.

Please ensure adequate funding is available before submission, especially if institutional or grant support is used to cover the APC.
