Reviewer Recognition Program
At the EcoBiotics: Journal of Animal & Plant Sciences (EJAPS), we sincerely value the essential role our reviewers play in maintaining the quality, integrity, and academic excellence of our journal. The Reviewer Recognition Program is designed to acknowledge and celebrate the dedication, expertise, and time contributed by our reviewers to the peer review process.
EJAPS publishes an annual acknowledgment of all reviewers who have contributed to the peer review process. This recognition is made available both in print and online, highlighting their valuable service to the academic community. Reviewers’ names are featured in the journal’s annual report and on the official website.
Reviewers who complete multiple reviews or provide outstanding, high-quality feedback are awarded personalized certificates of appreciation. These certificates serve as formal recognition of their commitment to scholarly excellence and can be included in their professional portfolios. Certificates are issued annually by the editorial team.
Each year, EJAPS identifies and honors top-performing reviewers based on the quality, depth, and timeliness of their reviews. Selected reviewers receive the Top Reviewer Award and are prominently recognized on the journal’s website and in a dedicated section of the journal.
Reviewers are assessed by the editorial team based on the thoroughness of their feedback, their contribution to improving manuscript quality, and their adherence to review deadlines. Consistently high-performing reviewers may be considered for further academic and editorial opportunities.
EJAPS offers reviewers opportunities to enhance their skills through participation in editorial workshops, webinars, and academic roundtables. These initiatives focus on strengthening peer review practices and keeping reviewers informed about the latest trends in scholarly publishing.
Reviewers who meet specific performance criteria—such as completing a defined number of reviews or receiving high evaluations—may be awarded digital badges. These badges can be displayed on professional profiles to showcase their contributions to the peer review process. EJAPS encourages the use of these badges for professional recognition.
EJAPS remains committed to recognizing and rewarding the invaluable contributions of its reviewers. Through this program, we aim to foster a culture of appreciation, professionalism, and continuous development within the academic community.
