Author Guidelines

Submission Instructions

We appreciate your interest in submitting your manuscript to EcoBiotics: Journal of Animal & Plant Sciences, a peer-reviewed journal dedicated to advancing research in zoology, botany, ecology, environmental biology, agricultural sciences, and biodiversity conservation. Please carefully review the submission and formatting guidelines below before submitting your manuscript.

General Submission Guidelines

  • Manuscripts submitted to EcoBiotics must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration by another journal. If the manuscript has been submitted elsewhere, a clear explanation must be provided in the “Comments to the Editor.”

  • All submissions must be made electronically via the journal’s online submission system:

  • Manuscripts should be prepared in Microsoft Word (2016 or later) and formatted according to the journal’s requirements.

  • Where applicable, provide active URLs for references.

  • Submissions must be submitted in a single MS Word file containing text, tables, figures, and images.

  • Authors must register on the journal’s website before submitting their manuscript.

Manuscript Formatting Guidelines

Title and Author Information

  • Title: Bold, First Letter of every word UPPERCASE, Sitka Heading, 14 pt, Left Aligned.

  • Author Details: Full Name, Designation, Institution, City, Country, and Email, in Sitka Heading, 10 pt, Left Aligned below the title.

Corresponding Author

  • Must be clearly identified.

  • Include postal address, valid email, and phone number (with area code).

Abstract

  • Maximum 300 words, italicized, justified, Sitka Heading, 10 pt.

  • Should summarize purpose, methods, findings, and implications.

Keywords

  • Provide 3–10 keywords, listed in alphabetical order, separated by commas, ending with a full stop.

Word Count

  • Manuscripts should be 3,500–8,000 words.

  • Longer submissions may be returned for editing.

Page Setup

  • Paper Size: A4 (8.27" × 11.69")

  • Margins: 1 inch on all sides

  • Header/Footer spacing: 0.5 inches from page edge

Tables and Figures

  • All tables and figures should be embedded within the text at relevant points.

  • Tables: Titles placed above the table, bold, Times New Roman 12 pt, centered.

  • Figures: Captions placed below the figure, same font and style, centered.

Equations/Formulas

  • Equations must follow the main font style used in the manuscript.

References

  • Follow APA Style (latest edition) for citations and references.

  • References should be arranged alphabetically at the end of the manuscript.

In-Text Citations

  • All citations must appear in the reference list, and vice versa.

  • Do not cite sources in the abstract.

  • Unpublished or personal communications should be mentioned only in the text.

Web References

  • Provide full URLs and metadata (author, title, date of access) for online references.

  • These may be listed within the main reference section.

Author Biography

  • Each author must provide a short biography (50–100 words) and a passport-size photo along with a completed Copyright Agreement Form.

Acknowledgment of Funding or Sponsorship

  • All financial support, grants, or sponsorship must be clearly acknowledged in the manuscript.
