About the Journal

The Journal of Global Social Transformation (JGST) is a peer-reviewed, open-access academic journal dedicated to publishing high-quality, interdisciplinary research that addresses global social issues and transformative processes. The journal serves as a platform for scholars, policymakers, and practitioners to engage with critical analyses and discussions on social change, development, and transformation across diverse contexts. Until 31 December 2025, the journal was published on a Quarterly basis. Effective 1 January 2026, the publication frequency has been changed to Monthly to facilitate the more frequent dissemination of high-quality research and provide authors with a faster publication process while maintaining rigorous peer-review and editorial standards.
