ComputeX – Journal of Emerging Technology & Applied Science

ComputeX publishes pioneering research in computer science, engineering, and applied sciences. Its editorial guidelines reflect a commitment to academic rigor, ethics, and innovation in technology research.

1. Submission and Initial Evaluation

  • Scope and Relevance: Submissions must be original and aligned with emerging technologies, engineering applications, and applied sciences.

  • Plagiarism Screening: Mandatory Turnitin check; similarity above 10% is not acceptable.

  • Manuscript Format: IMRAD structure, technical references (APA or IEEE style), ethical statements, funding sources.

  • Licensing Terms: Open access under CC BY-NC-ND 4.0 License.

2. Peer Review Policy

  • Double-blind peer review ensures unbiased evaluation by at least two expert reviewers.

  • Confidentiality and conflict-free reviewing are mandatory.

  • Review reports are expected within 2–4 weeks.

3. Editorial Decision-Making

  • Editorial outcomes: Accept, Minor Revision, Major Revision, Reject.

  • Constructive feedback is shared with all decisions.

  • Appeals reviewed by Editor-in-Chief or independent experts.

4. Ethical Standards and Responsibilities

  • Authorship: All listed authors must have significant scholarly input.

  • Conflict of Interest: Financial and institutional interests must be disclosed.

  • Research Ethics: Engineering and applied research must comply with ethical and safety standards.

5. Post-Publication Policy

  • Issues corrections, errata, or retractions if errors are identified.

  • Long-term archiving guarantees content availability.

6. Editorial Board Responsibilities

  • Board selected based on expertise in computing and applied sciences.

  • Members contribute to review processes and policy decisions.
