Author Guidelines

ComputeX – Journal of Emerging Technology & Applied Science

Submission Instructions

We appreciate your interest in submitting your manuscript to ComputeX – Journal of Emerging Technology & Applied Science, a peer-reviewed journal dedicated to publishing innovative and high-quality research across computer science, information technology, engineering, and applied sciences. Please carefully review the submission and formatting guidelines outlined below before proceeding with your manuscript submission.

General Submission Guidelines

  • Manuscripts submitted to ComputeX must be original, unpublished, and not under review by another journal. If the manuscript has been submitted elsewhere, a clear explanation must be provided in the “Comments to the Editor.”

  • All submissions must be made electronically via the journal’s online submission system:

  • Manuscripts should be prepared in Microsoft Word (version 2016 or later) and formatted as per the journal’s publication standards.

  • Where applicable, please include active URLs for references.

  • Submissions must be in electronic format. All text, tables, figures, and images should be included in a single MS Word document.

  • Authors must register on the journal’s website before submitting their manuscript.

Manuscript Formatting Guidelines

Title and Author Information

  • Title: Bold, UPPERCASE, centered, Times New Roman, 16 pt.

  • Author Information: Centered under the title, Times New Roman, 12 pt. Include:

    • Full Name

    • Designation

    • Department, Institution, City, Country

    • Email Address

Corresponding Author

  • Clearly indicate the corresponding author, responsible for communication during the review and publication process.

  • Include complete postal address, email, and telephone number (with country/area code).

Abstract

  • All manuscripts must include an abstract of no more than 200 words.

  • The abstract should be italicized, justified, Times New Roman, 12 pt.

  • It should concisely describe the background, objectives, methodology, analysis, key results, and conclusions.

Keywords

  • Provide 3–10 keywords, listed in alphabetical order, separated by commas, ending with a full stop.

Word Count

  • Manuscripts should be between 3,500 to 6,000 words.

  • Submissions exceeding the limit may be returned for revision.

  • Document setup: A4 size, 1.5 line spacing, single-sided text, with clear sectioning and margins.

Page Setup

  • Paper Size: A4 (8.27" × 11.69")

  • Margins: 1 inch on all sides

  • Header/Footer spacing: 0.5 inches from page edge

Sectioning the Manuscript

  • Use clear numbered headings and subheadings (e.g., 1., 1.1, 1.1.1).

  • Abstract and References sections should not be numbered.

Tables and Figures

  • Embed all tables and figures within the main manuscript text.

  • Tables: Titles above the table, bold, Times New Roman 12 pt, centered.

  • Figures: Captions below the image, same font and style, centered.

Equations/Formulas

  • Mathematical content must match the manuscript’s font and formatting style.

References

  • Use APA Style (Latest Edition) for all citations and references.

  • List references alphabetically at the end of the manuscript.

In-Text Citations

  • All sources cited in the text must appear in the reference list and vice versa.

  • Do not include citations in the abstract.

  • Unpublished results and personal communications should be cited only within the text.

Web References

  • Provide complete URLs and available metadata (author, title, date) for web-based sources.

  • Web citations may be listed within the general references section.

Author Biography

  • Each author must submit a short biography (50–100 words) along with a recent passport-sized photograph and the completed Copyright Agreement Form.

Acknowledgment of Funding or Sponsorship

  • If the research has received financial support or sponsorship from any agency, organization, or institution, this must be clearly disclosed in the manuscript.
