Editorial Process

  • Editorial Workflow –  Journal of Accounting, Finance & Business Insights (JAFBI)

At the  Journal of Accounting, Finance & Business Insights (JAFBI) , we are committed to a transparent, ethical, and academically rigorous editorial process. Each manuscript submitted to the journal is carefully evaluated to ensure that it meets the highest standards of research excellence, ethical compliance, and scholarly relevance. The following workflow outlines the journey of a manuscript from submission to publication:

    1. Manuscript Submission
All manuscripts must be submitted through the official online portal:
      https://rjsaonline.org/index.php/JABFI
Submissions must fully comply with the journal’s formatting, ethical, and technical guidelines, as detailed in the author instructions.

    2. Initial Screening and Plagiarism Check
The editorial office conducts a preliminary assessment to ensure that the manuscript:

      • Falls within the scope of JAFBI

      • Complies with ethical standards (where applicable)

      • Passes a plagiarism screening (using Turnitin or equivalent). Manuscripts with a similarity index above 10% may be returned or rejected.

    3. Assignment to Section Editor
Qualified manuscripts are assigned to a Section Editor with expertise in the subject area. The editor evaluates academic quality, relevance, and originality.

      • Major revisions required

      • Reject

    6. Editorial Decision
Based on reviewer feedback, the Section Editor (with consultation from the Editor-in-Chief if needed) makes the final decision. Authors receive formal decision letters and anonymized comments.

    7. Author Revisions
Authors submit revised manuscripts with detailed responses to reviewer comments. Revisions may undergo re-review or direct editorial evaluation.

    8. Final Acceptance
After satisfactory revisions, the editorial board issues a final acceptance, and the manuscript proceeds to production.
