JAFBI is dedicated to advancing multidisciplinary scholarship across Accounting, Finance & Business. These editorial guidelines ensure transparent, ethical, and professional publishing practices, fostering high-quality academic contributions.

1. Submission and Initial Evaluation

  • Scope and Relevance: Manuscripts must be original and fall within the fields of education, humanities, or social sciences.

  • Plagiarism Screening: All submissions undergo Turnitin checks, with a strict 10% similarity threshold.

  • Manuscript Format: Must follow the IMRAD structure (where applicable), include references in APA style, and contain ethical statements and funding disclosures.

  • Licensing Terms: Articles are published under the CC BY-NC-ND 4.0 License.

2. Peer Review Policy

  • Operates a double-blind peer review process with at least two independent reviewers.

  • Reviewer selection is based on subject expertise, free of conflicts of interest, and committed to confidentiality.

  • Reviewers are expected to provide feedback within 2–4 weeks.

3. Editorial Decision-Making

  • Possible outcomes: Accept, Minor Revision, Major Revision, Reject.

  • Constructive feedback is always shared with authors.

  • Appeals can be made formally and reviewed by the Editor-in-Chief.

4. Ethical Standards and Responsibilities

  • Authorship: Only contributors with substantial academic input may be listed.

  • Conflict of Interest: Authors, reviewers, and editors must declare any relevant interests.

  • Research Ethics: Human and animal studies must have institutional ethical approval and informed consent.

5. Post-Publication Policy

  • Corrections and retractions are issued when necessary, with full transparency.

  • Articles are digitally preserved for long-term academic access.

6. Editorial Board Responsibilities

  • Board members are selected for expertise and integrity.

  • Roles include peer review, advisory duties, and upholding ethical standards.

7. Communication and Transparency

    • The editorial office provides clear and timely communication with authors.

    • Professionalism and transparency are prioritized at every stage.
