Correction Policy
1. Purpose of Corrections
PJSSH maintains research integrity in the social sciences and humanities by ensuring accurate, trustworthy publications. Corrections preserve the scholarly record and protect readers, researchers, and educators.
2. Types of Corrections
Erratum (Publisher-Initiated):
Corrects production errors such as formatting, figures, or metadata without changing conclusions.
Corrigendum (Author-Initiated):
Addresses substantive post-publication errors, like misreported data or analytical mistakes, that affect understanding but not overall validity.
3. Correction Procedure
Error Detection: Authors, editors, readers, or reviewers report errors.
Editorial Review: Evaluates the significance and selects the correction type.
Implementation: A correction notice is published, linked to the article; major textual changes only if critical.

1. Purpose of Retractions
Retractions withdraw articles with serious validity or ethical concerns, protecting the social sciences scholarly record.
