Correction Policy

1. Purpose of Corrections

RJSSPR ensures accurate, credible, and reliable research publications in social sciences, policy studies, and governance. Corrections maintain the integrity of the scholarly record for global research use.

2. Types of Corrections

Erratum (Publisher-Initiated):
For production-related errors (formatting, figures, metadata) not affecting study conclusions.

Corrigendum (Author-Initiated):
For substantive errors identified by authors after publication (e.g., data, analysis errors) impacting understanding but not invalidating the study.

3. Correction Procedure

Error Detection: Authors, readers, editors, or reviewers may detect errors.

Editorial Review: The editorial board evaluates the issue and determines correction type.

Implementation: A formal correction notice is issued and linked to the original article. The text remains unless critical changes are needed.

4. Visibility & Indexing

Corrections are:

  • Clearly labeled and linked

  • Indexed for traceability

  • Fully open access


Retraction Policy

1. Purpose of Retractions

Retractions withdraw articles with serious validity, ethical, or methodological issues, protecting social sciences and policy research integrity.

2. Grounds for Retraction

  • Research Misconduct: Plagiarism, data manipulation, unethical authorship

  • Ethical Violations: Human/animal study approval missing, undisclosed conflicts

  • Critical Flaws: Major methodological or interpretational errors

3. Retraction Process

  • Investigation: RJSSPR initiates review; authors/institutions consulted if needed

  • Editorial Decision: Guided by COPE standards

  • Retraction Notice: Publicly issued; article clearly marked RETRACTED; remains accessible

4. Transparency & Indexing

  • Freely available

  • Clearly marked

  • Indexed in bibliographic/citation databases
